Kwenda Lima, accomplished dancer and choreographer born in Cape Verde, with a vast experience in teaching tradicional and modern dances from Angola and Cape Verde.
His unique command of style and musicality make him one of the world’s most sought after kizomba teachers. Additionally, he has developed a unique project, Kaizen Dance, which touches people’s hearts and souls. Kwenda applies his knowledge in engineering (he has got a PhD in Aerospace Engineering) to dance: “engineering” one’s self through Kaizen Dance to try to help people see more meaning in their lives, and become better versions of themselves.
He currently lives in Lisbon, where he shares his teaching at his Art Kaizen Centre in Marvila. He also regularly conducts Kaizen Dance and Kizomba workshops at festivals all around the world.
His charisma and generosity in teaching are an inspiration for all of those who are touched by his practice.
